ATC

Artist Trading Cards are miniature works of art created on 2 ½ X 3 ½ inch. I am participating in a swap over at Urban Scrappers. We are doing the alphabet and I chose the letter N. I used the word Need and found quotes and attached the quotes to the ATCs. Here are my ATCs that were sent in the mail today.

Gone but he will never be forgotten for the words he spoke and this here praise that rings in our churches today. Rest in Peace Bishop Kenneth Moales, Sr.! Join me as I pray for his family and church family during this difficult time.

A Lost Gem

My brother sent me a photo the other day that made me smile and a little sad at the same time. It was a picture of my mother and stepfather on their wedding day we believe. I miss my mom so much. I wish she was still here with us. I don't miss the man beside her for various reasons, but would like to know where in the world he is. That's a story for another day, but so glad to have a picture to share of my mom.

Kindergarten!!!

Danielle started Kindergarten last week. She is enjoying it. I haven't got our schedule down but I am working on it. Here are some pics from her first day.

My Weekend

On Friday I stayed up until 6:00 am Scrapbooking over the phone with my girls Kisha and my girl Kim. We did a lot of chatting. And I actually got some stuff done. Lookie here:

And all day Saturday I rested. Was about to go out but discovered that my keys were missing. My husband found them in one of our couches. Thank God he found them.

Church on Sunday was excellent! We came home and I cooked dinner and we just relaxed. I received some sad news via Twitter. Bishop Walter Hawkins had died and man I instantly started crying like I actual knew. Well I felt like I did I had been listening to his music since I was a kid. Love his music and his voice!

Blessed me so much wished I could have been playing in the Viola section on this one.

Wow I let the whole month of May past without saying a word to you alll.. I know I am indeed a bad blogger. But I can only master on Social Networking Site at time! Twitter (@CyntaSings) has stolen my heart and facebook is my mistress lol.

I have been busy. I have done some scrapping. Let me apologize for the lowsy pics but I was lazy and took them with my blackberry (which I am addicted to) instead of my camera.

Ten Fun Facts About ME!!

1. I sucked my thumb until I was 24.
2. I dated two cousins (not at the same time) and ended up marrying one of them.
3. I play the viola started in 6th grade
4. I love to sing!
5. I have six brothers and three sisters
6. I use to play basketball in middle school and high school.
7. I love to talk sport with the hubby. When I was dating my husband I would sit with my bro-in-law and hubs and watch the games and holler and scream more than them.

I love it! I am sure you figured that one out already...lol...Well I have been keeping up with the challenges on the Classy Coordinates Ning group. So let's see what I have done.




I completed all of these except for the 8 years on in February.

The first Layout I created for UrbanScrappers Ning Group One Word Challenge. The second layout is also for this Ning Group and it was Flourish Challenge.


As my word for the year says I plan to create this year! I think I am off to a pretty good start. What do you think?


I also made some cards last night base on Tiare's Typical Cards. Hope you enjoy them I had a great time making them.

I made the Design TEAM!!!

I Have Been Scrapping!!

I stayed up almost all nignt On Friday finishing up some pages that I started awhile ago and doing some new ones.

Let's start with the older pages:

This Danielle and Bethany these two love each other so much. I used some Sassfrass Lass anf Kraft CS, Bazzil Scalloped Black Cs, Sassafrass Lass.

I completed this page next page this Tuesday. We are enjoying this ride we are on with my nephew AJ there is never a dull moment. I love the way Danielle and AJ are bonding. It makes me happy that they are getting along.


This was for the Technique Challenge on Tiare's Blog. It was a Challenge on using brads I used a total of 24 brads on this page. I used Stampin Up CS Adn BasicGrey Scarlet Letter, my favorite line them, letter bead and Making Memories sparkle letters.

The other two challenges were using flowers and pattern paper. so here are my submissions for those....Join us at the ClassyScrapper Forum for more challenges.


I used Stampin Up! Black cs and some random sticker flowers, target dollar spot ribbon and bling word princess


Stampin Up! cs BasicGrey Lime Rickey - This line was so fun to work with kinda sad I almost done with what papers I had from the line plus my 6x6 paper pack I bought...looks like I may be making a purchase...lol

I applied for my first Design Team Call

I had fun doing the layouts and I also finally learned how to scan and stitch layouts. It was so easy I have no idea why I never tried this before. So here you have it my first three layouts for the year!!! I have been kinda busy to along with this project I also am finishing up some wedding thank you notes for friends. I used the Stampin Up! Top note Die for this...

I really like this die cut it is very versatile. I don't have a Big Shot but it works in my cuttlebug. I am considering getting a Cricut not sure which one yet nor am I totally sold on the idea..so time will tell.
