Late Night Scrapping Edition

When I scrapped Friday, March 11 I got this layout done  This layout is of my mom on the day I beliecve her and my stepfather got married.  This is one of the few pictures that we have of her from the early days. I believe this was taken in 1977-78. I can't remember the  exact year they got married I was only 3or 4.

I also entered a challenge with the Craftin Sistah group on facebook. The elements of your card had to begin with the letter B. I used Blue, Black and Bow. :) it's featured on this blog.  Thanks again Normea!

Sketch 49 and some Pictures

This card was done while I was sick. So needless to day I really don't like this one. I had strep throat a few weeks ago and just as I thought I was healed and now I get a cold. I just can't win. 

My husband has been home and we have been spending alot of time together.  Here we are at Olive Garden on Sunday

On Saturday it was so nice out I took the kids to the park they had a ball...can't you tell...coming to scrapbook layout soon

Twisted Sketch 47

I had love on the mind while creating this card for my Sketch for this week over at Twisted Sketches. I bought this paper at Ross for $2.99. Just a tip to my scrapbooking friends Ross, Marshalls and TJ Maxx have some great scrapbooking steals if you like search and resuce missions.  lol! I don't mind myself.

New Glasses

So I got my new glasses back in December and decided to doa layout about for design team call. I didn't get picked for this one but I'll keep trying for others. Here is the layout:

I have been home the last two days with Danielle. She has pink eye in both eyes and a sore throat.. Fun Times in the Outterbridge household..NOT!  I am looking forward to my weekend though. Going away with the hub for our annual couples retreat. I can't wait and neiter can he. Love is in the air! lol!

Layouts to share

I haven't created a layout since October well that was until last week.  Since I am on the Twisted Sketches Design Team that's all I have been making is cards.  So I finally broke that pattern last week. This first layout is my niece Laila with her outfit she wore to a photo shoot. I hope to get my hands on the photos from that shoot to make her a mini album. This girl has so much character and charisma. Praying for a bright future for her. I completed this one last night or shall i say this morning..lol

Tribute to Danielle's favorite boots. we saw them awhile back and weren't able to get them and I kinda forgot about them. One day we were shopping for a reward for her not sucking her thumb in school and we found these.  We get in the the car she immediately puts them on.

Sketch 43 - Happy Birthday

I gave this card to my dear friend Khalilah. I made the card 5.5 inches by 5.5 inches and used some Basic Grey Pyrus. I sprayed the chipboard with brown and irridescent maya mist. I added a Jenni Bowlin butterfly and two Queen & Co. Brads.  I had to cut it down to get it fit into envelope. I really like how it turned out.  Do you want to try your hand at the sketch?  Oh you do! Twisted Sketch 41 - Lovely

As a Christmas gift one of my corworkers gave a me a paperpack and 3 ring 12X12 binder.  Can you say excited. So as I sat down to scrap my latest sketch I opened the paper pack and this what I created:

I used Making Memories Fa La La Pager and a tag from that paper pack.  I also used Basic Grey Wassial Glazed Brads with Bazzill my cardstock staple!!  Like the card Check out the sketch at Twisted Sketches... We now have a 6 year old in the house

Here she is having fun in the park attempting to climb the monkey bars...She wasn't as jubilant after trying.  She really wants to climb the monkey bars but is very afraid and gives up way to quickly.  Well we will keep at it, maybe by 7 she'll be ready..

She started school this fall and as I began to think about her starting school all my concerns and feelings spilled onto to this scrapbook page. I had done it for a challenge but never posted because I had never in my life wrote so much on a page.  I am glad to report that I know my prayers for my daughter are heard and are being answered every day!!! Happy Birthday Danielle!!! I LOVE YOU!!!  This Danielle three years ago wearing my shoes.
